MAKING SPLITS AND NUCS
Helen Humphreys

Are you looking to increase your hive numbers or get ahead of the swarm season this spring? Splitting your hives and creating nucleus colonies is one of the most effective skills a beekeeper can master.

Helen will guide you through the how and why of making splits. She’ll walk through various methods, breaking down the pros and cons of each, to assist you in deciding which method best suits you and your beekeeping style.
