Learn all the basics of Responsible Beekeeping

Topics covered during the course include...

  •  Managing your hive 
  • OH&S in beekeeping 
  • Understanding the swarming impulse of bees 
  • Diseases and pests affecting bees 
  • Importance of biosecurity
  • How to integrate a Flow Hive

You’ll also do some hands-on inspecting of a hive and learn how best to light your smoker. 

Bring: 

Boots, bee suits and gloves for the practical part of the course 

Light lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided 

At the end of the Course, you will receive a thumb drive with the Course Content, as well as a WAAS Certificate of Completion

Pay by EFT/cheque/cash before the Course.

Registrations will be processed strictly 

in order of payment.
